Tata Group Wins Bid For Air India: Report
The government of India has reportedly accepted the proposal of Tata Group's bid for Air India. Tata Group was already the front runner in the bid, among many others including SpiceJet'. The bids were evaluated by a panel headed by Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and including Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia and Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal. The reverse price of Air India was likely between the range of 15,000-20,000 crores.
