Secunderabad Violent Protest Against Agnipath Scheme Kills 1 Person, 8 Injured
In the violent protest at Secunderabad Railway Station, a person identified as Damodar, lost his life. On June 17, the National Students Union Of India (NSUI) and army aspirants' staged violent protest demanding withdrawal of the recently launched “Agnipath'' army recruitment scheme.o control the situation, the Secunderabad Railway Police opened fire, resulted in killing of one person and left eight people severely injured. Telangana Minister KTR condemned the killing on Twitter.
