Patiala Court Remands 4-Day Judicial Custody Of AltNews Co-Founder Mohammed Zubair

Mohammed Zubair, Co-founder of AltNews has been remanded four-day judicial custody in a case, registered against him over an objectionable Twitter post.  On June 28, a Patiala House Court remanded Mohammed, after he was produced before Chief Metropolitan Magistrate after the expiry of his one-day custodial interrogation. Although the Twitter post was shared in 2018, a case was registered with the Delhi Police recently, following which he was arrested.
