Maha Bans All Public Gathering Ahead Of Ramazan; 50,000 New COVID Cases
Maharastra CM Uddhav Thackeray-led government has declared a ban on public gatherings and processions with all religious places, considering Ramzan commences from April 14. However, the government has urged all the Muslims to break their fast at home and follow Covid-19 protocol. Earlier, Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind had requested the government to allow mosque with 50% capacity. Reportedly, the state has recorded 51,751 coronavirus cases on April 12.
