Amitabh Bachchan withdrew his agreement with a paan masala brand he was associated with. He stated that at the time of making the contract he wasn't aware that it falls under "surrogate advertising". The move has come after National anti-tobacco organization requested him to withdraw himself. As a result, Big B relieved himself from the ad campaign and returned the money he took as fees.
