RCB skipper Virat Kohli has been rebuked for breaching the IPL's code of conduct. Reportedly, on April 14 during the RCB's match against SRH, Kholi after being dismissed on 33 runs, he expressed his anger hitting bat over the boundary cushion and chair. IPL officials said, "Mr Kohli admitted to the Level 1 offence 2.2 of the IPL’s Code of Conduct. For Level 1.....Match Referee’s decision is final and binding."

Clearing all speculations over the trilogy bout between Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier, UFC President Dana White has stated that the fight is confirmed for UFC 264 on July 10. Moreover, the event will take place in Las Vegas' T-Mobile arena with a full capacity of 20,000 fans in attendance. Rajasthan Royals' Ben Stokes will miss the remainder of the IPL 2021 as he suffered a broken left-hand finger injury in a match against Punjab Kings on April 12. The all-rounder sustained the injury while diving forward to take a catch of Chris Gayle. A recent opinion poll, conducted by Kyodo News, has indicated that more than 70% of the Japanese want the Tokyo Olympics to either get cancelled or postponed. Only 24.5% of the people surveyed supported the Olympics' schedule. While about 39.2 % of the respondents voted in favour of cancellation, 32.8% opted for deferment. Moreover, about 93% of the Japanese have expressed fear that the COVID-19 cases can rise again.
