For the Indian blue-collar industry in 2019, Nirmit Parikh made the decision to launch the employment website Apna. He left his job as an Apple technician and returned to India right before the Covid-19 outbreak to launch the firm that became a unicorn in two years. Today, the platform's Android app has over 1 crore downloads. Apna's clients include Shadowfax, Zomato, Delhivery, G4S Global, and Burger King.

Apple To Replace Qualcomm With Internal 5G Modems Raise Legal Issues
Apple bought Intel's modem group with the objective of eventually replacing Qualcomm with internal 5G modems. Formerly expected, but now highly improbable, is that Apple will switch to internal modems before the expiration period. The two patents have expiration dates of 2029 and 2030, respectively, and Apple's efforts to get them canceled ended on June 27 when the Supreme Court denied Apple's plea to revive the patent issue.

Apple To Launch Series Of Products In Fall, Claims Report
Apple is all set to launch new gadgets and models, starting this fall and in 2023. The company will introduce a series of gadgets including iPhone 14 models, new iPad, Apple Watch models and other products this fall. Furthermore, as per Bloomberg's Mark Gurman report, the new Apple 14 is expected to be launched in Autumn, following which it will be available in the market.

Apple Tops List Of Most Popular Smartphones Sold Worldwide; Followed By Samsung, Xiaomi
According to Counterpoint's Global Monthly Handset Sales Tracker for April 2022, the top ten smartphone models, which included Apple, Samsung, and Xiaomi, accounted for 21% of the global smartphone market. Xiaomi's Redmi Note 11 LTE secured a place in the top ten of the list of the most popular smartphones sold worldwide. Samsung earned four spots on the list. Five of Apple's newest iPhone 13 models topped the list.

Apple Unveils Pride Edition Watch Bands & Watch Faces For 2022
To show its support for LGBTQ community and to commemorate Prime Month in June, Apple has released two Pride Edition bands and watch faces. This year it features a color gradient with the word "pride" woven into the band. Apple Pride Edition Sport Loop and Pride Edition Nike Sport Loop are available for $49 on the online store and will be available at Apple Store locations starting May 26.

Apple May Introduce A New HomePod Smart Speaker In Early 2023: Kuo
Apple is planning to release a new HomePod smart speaker in late 2022 or early 2023. According to supply chain expert Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple is planning to deliver the next HomePod model in the fourth quarter of this year or the first quarter of next year. This will most likely be a larger model than the HomePod mini, but one with features that will help lower the price from $300.

Apple Halts Product Sales In Russia Amid Ukraine-Russia Invasion
As per reports, Tech Giant Apple has halted product sales in Russia following the country’s invasion of Ukraine. "We have paused all product sales in Russia. Last week, we stopped all exports into our sales channel in the country,'' stated Apple. Moreover, the iPhone maker has limited Apple Pay and other services in Russia. Earlier in 2021, Apple had stopped sales in Turkey due to economic turmoil and currency fluctuation.

$315 Billion In Market value Evaporates After Apple's New iOS Privacy Policy
Four giant companies suffered a loss of $315 billion after Apple updated its iOS, in 2021. As per reports, users had to opt-in instead of opt-out allowing users to ad-track by social media apps like Facebook and Twitter. This change is estimated to cost Meta Platforms an estimated $10 billion in revenue, in 2022, informed CFO David Wehner. "We believe management's tone around iOS impact has deteriorated,'' stated JP Morgan.
