Assam's Manas National Park Sees A Rise In Tiger Population
Notably, with the presence of various cameras around 285 locations, Assam's Manas Wildlife Sanctuary has spotted 48 tigers, out of which 38 are adults, 3 are sub-adults, and 7 are cubs. Reportedly, there has been a three-fold increase in the total number of tigers from 10 to 38 between 2010 and 2021. Besides, UP’s Pilibhit tiger reserve won the International award TX2 for doubling their tigers.
