Ethereum Founder Vitalik Donates $1Bn To India's COVID Relief Fund

Crypto genius and Ethereum cryptocurrency co-founder Vitalik Buterin has donated $1 billion worth of Shiba Inu meme coins to aid India's COVID crisis. He pledged approximately 500 ETH and over 50 trillion SHIB that is worth $1.14 billion to a crypto fundraiser launched by Indian tech entrepreneur Sandeep Nailwal. Notably, despite being not legalized in the country, India has received six million dollars’ worth of crypto donations so far.

Brett Lee Donates Rs 43 Lakh In Bitcoin To India For Oxygen Sufficiency

Making his contribution to India's fight against COVID-19, former Australian pacer Brett Lee donated 1 Bitcoin towards Crypto Relief to tackle oxygen deficiency. Lee's official statement on Twitter read, "India has always been a second home to me. It saddens me deeply to see people suffering due to the ongoing pandemic". Lee's contribution accounting for Rs 43 lakh follows Pat Cummins who also has donated over Rs 35 lakh.
