Kapil Sibal Angrily Tweets Against Rahul Gandhi's Alleged Remark, Deletes Later
Kapil Sibal posted an angry tweet, in which he alleged that Rahul Gandhi said the leaders who wrote the letter had "colluded with BJP". The former Union minister and a senior Congress member is one of the 23 leaders who wrote a letter to Sonia Gandhi demanding for reforms in the leadership. He later withdrew his statement saying, "was informed by Rahul Gandhi personally that he never said what was attributed to him".

Sonia Gandhi Offers to Step Down from Congress President Post
Congress' chief Sonia Gandhi has offered to step down from the party's top post, as the sources suggest. Reportedly, Sonia Gandhi has asked the party leaders to find a new chief. Apparently, her response was against a letter, which was signed by many Congress leaders demanding restructuring of the party. The decision came ahead of the Congress Working Committee meeting scheduled on August 24.
