On July 11, the river crossed the 206 watermark, amid heavy to very heavy rainfall which lashed the national capital in the past few days. At least 41 people died in the past 48-hours. Moreover, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) issued an orange alert and urged people to stay indoors.
