Researchers say Jupiter emits large quantity of electrons, which interact with the molecules beneath Europa's surface causing it to glow. The researchers have also credited salts like magnesium sulfate and sodium chloride as the reason. The NASA's 'Europa Clipper' mission will help the researcher to get more clarity on this.
