2000-Year-Old Mummy Unearthed With Golden Tongue In Egypt
Archaeologists researching at the ancient Egyptian site Taposiris Magna have excavated a 2000-year-old mummy having a tongue made of gold. The excavators believe that the embalmers might have placed the golden tongue for the deceased could speak to Osiris - the Egyptian Lord of the underworld. Reportedly, 15 other burials were also discovered, of which one female mummy had worn a death mask covering her body with a headdress.
