Five Chinese Nationals Booked by the US for Hacking Various Government Sites

Five Chinese nationals on September 17 were charged for hacking by the US Department of Justice. Prime Minister Modi's Personal Website Twitter Account hacked

The Twitter account of PM Modi's personal website was hacked early morning on September 03. While confirming the news, Twitter siad, "We are actively investigating the situation. At this time, we are not aware of additional accounts being impacted." Reportedly, once the account was hacked, a series of tweets asked the followers to donate to PM National Relief Fund through cryptocurrency.

New Windows' Bug Provides Hackers an Opportunity to Exploit Printers

SafeBreach Labs has found a new bug named CVE-2020-1048 in Windows Print Spooler, an OS that manages printing processes. The bug lets hackers change files containing the ID of the system user and the data that is due to be printed. Microsoft has already released two fixes to address the bug issue but to no avail. A new fix in the Microsoft's security update is scheduled for August 11.
