Scam 1992 Sequel Announced; Telgi's Stamp Paper Fraud Central Plot
Driven by the massive success garnered by Pratik Gandhi-starred 'Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story', the makers have announced a second instalment for the franchise. Touted as an adaptation of the book 'Reporter ki Diary' penned by journalist Sanjay Singh, the second season will feature Abdul Karim Telgi's stamp paper scam of 2003. Set to release on SonyLIV, the show will have National Award recipient Hansal Mehta as the director.

Sony LIV to stream 'Scam 1992- The Harshad Mehta Story' from October 9
Sony LIV has announced the premiere of web-series 'Scam 1992- The Harshad Mehta Story' from October 9. Directed by Hansal Mehta, the series was adapted from the book 'The Scam' by Sucheta Dalal. The web-series is set in the 1980s and '90s of Bombay and tells the story of Harshad Mehta and his rise and fall as a stockbroker. The financial thriller series stars Pratik Gandhi, Sharib Hashmi and Shreya Dhanwantary.
