Hijab Case: 19 Students Likely To Lose Studies In Haleyangadi College
At least 19 students will reportedly lose their studies in Mangaluru's Haleyangadi college, after not attending classes and abstaining from writing exams. The students have been missing classes since three months, when the High Court of Karnataka instructed all students to abide by the uniform mandate, and not wear Hijabs in colleges. Reportedly, the college principal has since then been trying to convince the girls to attend college.
