The Income Tax (IT) department is currently probing a land deal that took place in 2017 between Maharashtra Transport minister Anil Parab and a Mumbai-based cable operator Sadanand Kadam. In addition, the department carried out raids on businesses and close aides of Parab on March 8. Notably, Anil Parab had purchased land in Dapoli in 2017 for Rs 1 crore, but registered the land in 2019.
