Kodiyeri Balakrishnan

CPM party secretary Kodiyeri Balakrishnan is in spot with a misogynist remark expressing sexist vision at the CPM meeting in Kochi. On March 3, he responded to a question on whether the party would reserve 50%  seats for women, and said, “Is this question aimed at destroying this party?” Notably, education minister Bindu had earlier slammed CPM members for patriarchal mindset and attitude towards women, which needs to be raised.
