Mizoram Reports 1,280 New COVID-19 Cases, 1 Death In Last 24 Hours
A total of 1,280 new COVID-19 cases have been reported in Mizoram, while one person died due to the virus, in the last 24 hours. The total number of cases now in the state has gone up to 1,53,758, while the active caseload stands at 8,869, as per Information and Public relations department. Notably, the COVID-19 death toll in the state has risen to 573, after the recent death.

Andhra Pradesh Registers 4,570 New COVID-19 Cases
At least 4,570 fresh COVID-19 cases have been recorded in Andhra Pradesh in last 24 hours, taking overall percentage to 15%. In addition, 669 COVID-19 patients recovered, & one died in 24 hours. The health department, on January 16, confirmed 21,06,280 positive cases, 20,65,000 recovered, and 14,510 deceased cases. Massive Fire Breaks Out At Godown In Mustafa Bazar: Mumbai
A massive fire broke out at a wooden godown in Mustafa Bazar area of Mumbai, during the morning of January 10, at about 05:30 am. As per sources, ten fire fighters were rushed to the spot to control the fire. No casualities have been reported from the incident and the cause of fire and the damage caused is yet to be ascertained.

WhatsApp has released a new update for its android users on the beta channel. According to reports, the company has been working on message reaction notifications for its android application for months. Moreover, it has been evident from its name that it will let users react to messages, similar to the way users reacted to posts and comments on Facebook. However, it's unclear when the update will be available.

Android Users Can Now Watch 4K HDR Resolution Videos On YouTube
Android users from now on would be able to watch YouTube videos in 4K resolution. The online video-sharing platform rolled a new update on February 18 for its 16.06.34 app version. Earlier, Android devices supported only a maximum resolution of 1440p which has increased to 2160p (4K) HDR after the recent update. Currently, YouTube is eyeing to enhance the user experience by bringing a modernised interface for tablets.
