South Korea-based electronic giant LG on April 5 announced its departure from the smartphone market, citing heavy loss. The company had earlier revealed of suffering $4.5 billion loss in the past six years. Rates Of Electronic Appliances To Witness Hike From January 2021
Owing to an increase in the expense of raw materials and transportation, electronic appliances' prices will likely increase by 10% in January 2021. Reportedly, LG has indicated a 7-8% increase in the rates and Panasonic hinted of a 6-7% rise. However, Sony is yet to announce its decision on the price hike. Besides, the Consumer Electronics and Appliances Manufacturers Association has warned the price hike may influence the overall demand.
