Bangladesh thrashed Sri Lanka in the one-sided rain-affected game held on May 25 at Shere Bangla Stadium, Dhaka. With the help of Mushfiqur Rahim’s brilliant knock of 125 in 127 balls, Bangladesh while batting first scored 246 runs in 48.1 overs. Chasing the target Sri Lankan batsmen crumbled to face the bowlers and managed to score only 141-9 in 40 overs and Bangladesh won the match by DLS method.
