French Author Annie Ernaux Receives Nobel Prize 2022 For Literature
Eighty-Two-Years-Old French author Annie Ernaux won the Nobel Prize 2022 for the Literature field. The award was announced on October 6, by Swedish Academy in Stockholm in Sweden, for her "uncompromising and written in plain language, scraped clean". Ernaux debuted her writing career in 1970 with Les armoires vides (Cleaned Out 1990). Some of her famous books include A Woman's Story, A Man's Place, and Simple Passion.
