Mumbai DCP (Zone two) has been transferred in "public interest" after money extortion case was registered against three inspectors under his zone. On February 24, after the Crime Intelligence Unit's (CIU) investigation, the Mumbai Police removed IPS Officer Saurabh Tripaathi and appointed Shasheekumar Meena as the new DCP, Zone two.
