PV Sindhu Stirs Controversy By Quitting National Camp of Olympics, Reaches London

PV Sindhu has quit the national camp for the Olympics and moved to London. Reportedly, the badminton player took the decision owing to personal reasons and is said to have informed the academy that she will be staying in England, the next 2 months. Sindhu's father has alleged that there was a lack of attention in training by Coach Pullela Gopichand. However, Sindhu has denied having any issues with her coach or institute.

Amid COVID Scare, PV Sindhu Decides Not to Play Denmark Open

World Champion PV Sindhu on September 17 withdrew from the upcoming Denmark Open. The 25-year-old expressed that it is too risky to travel all the way to Denmark for one match during the pandemic. However, the Olympic Silver medalist agreed to take part in the now postponed Thomas and Uber Cup Finals after the BAI President requested her. The Denmark Open is scheduled from October 13-18.
