Queen Elizabeth Takes Away British Honorary Award from Harvey Weinstein
Queen Elizabeth removed film producer Harvey Weinstein from CBE (Commander of Most Excellent Order of British Empire) roll of honour. Weinstein had received the honorary award in 2004. The announcement came after the 68-year-old producer was convicted of raping a film actress and a production assistant in February. Currently, he is serving a 23-year-jail term in New York.

Barbados to Wipe Colonial Marks, Removes Queen as Head of the State
On September 16, Barbados removed Queen Elizabeth from the position of Head of the State. The Government said, "The time has come to leave our colonial past". However, the Buckingham Palace stated that it wasn't a sudden announcement. "People wanted a Barbadian as head of the state," said Barbados PM Mia Mottley. Mauritius and other Carribbean countries have already removed Queen as their head of the state since 1970.
