Michael Vaughan announced to temporarily step down from commentary duties with the BBC. The announcement of the former England captain came after he was embroiled in the racism controversy involving former Yorkshire player Azeem Rafiq. On June 28, Vaughan announced the same on Twitter. Notably, Rafiq, a player of Pakistani descent, alleged Vaughan of saying, “too many of you lot, we need to do something about it"
