In a historic move, the Gujarat Government released 11 convicts for raping a pregnant Bilkis Bano in 2002. Pakistan Hands Over 20 Indian Fishermen To India After 4 years
At least 20 Indian fishermen were handed over to India via the Attari-Wagah border, on January 24. ''They mistakenly entered the Pakistan Territory in 2017, due to the lack of navigation, and were held captive in Karachi's Landhi jail for 4 years,'' informed officer Anurag Singh. The fishermen extended gratitude to the Government. ''I request the government to bring more prisoners back who are stuck in Pakistan,'' said a fisherman.
