Madras High Court Judge, Justice N Anand Venkatesh said on April 27 that he is not completely 'woke' enough on same-sex relationships. Reportedly, the justice will take educational sessions to understand same-sex relationships and then deliver a judgment in the court. Concerning a case of eloped lesbian couple petitioners, he said ‘the words must come from my heart and not from my head.’ He even approached a psychologist for help.
