ISRO's GSLV-10 Fails During Launch Due To Malfunction

ISRO's mission was unsuccessful after it failed to launch Geo Imaging Satellite (Gisat-1) into orbit on the morning of August 12. Reportedly, the cryogenic stage did not ignite leading to engine shutdown during the launch. "Due to a technical anomaly in the cryogenic stage, the mission could not be fully accomplished," ISRO chairman K Sivan said. ISRO has decided to form a committee on failure analysis (FAC).
