Delhi Govt Directs Business Establishments To Pay Amid G20 Summit Shutdown

Delhi government has directed shops, businesses and commercial establishments in the New Delhi district to grant paid holiday to their employees and workers during the G20 summit, scheduled between September 8 and 10. Preparations are underway in a massive scale for the G20 Summit, for which top leaders of member countries of the grouping, including US President Joe Biden and Chinese President Xi Jinping are expected to visit India.

Kashmir: Separatist Hurriyat Calls For Complete Shut Down Over Land Laws

Major parts of North Kashmir, including Sopore, Baramulla, Kupwara, Handwara, Bandipore and others observed a shutdown on October 31.The shutdown was called by separatist conglomerate Hurriyat Conference' over the new land laws. Smaaash Entertainment To Collapse Due To Low Foot Fall

Smaaash entertainment arcade shut down its operations across the country due to low footfall during the pandemic. Reportedly, founder Shripal Morakhia said, "I am sorry that despite my best efforts I have failed to save the company from its premature death." The entertainment arcade ran in 40 branches across 19 cities with various games and dine-in facility. Earlier, the company reached Rs 3 billion in revenue in 2019.
