Bengal: Suvendu To "Clarify His Stand" Soon As TMC Leaders Sort Issues
Disgruntled TMC leader Suvendu Adhikari, who recently resigned from the West Bengal Cabinet, will soon "clarify his stand". The news was given by TMC MP Sugata Roy who, along with other leaders, held a meeting with Suvendu on December 1. Roy said, "All issues have been sorted out." The party MPs Sudip Bandhopadhyay and Avishek Banerjee and strategist Prashant Kishor were also present in the meeting. Suvendu has not issued any statement yet.… read-more

Bengal Transport Minister Suvendhu Adhikari Resigns From Cabinet
Giving signs of his exit from the Trinamool Congress, discontented Senior Minister Suvendu Adhikari has stepped down from the cabinet. Suvendhu has resigned from the post of transport and irrigation minister, but as he has not resigned from the assembly. For the past three months, he had not engaged in any party and cabinet sessions. After the resignation, Bengal BJP president Dilip Ghosh welcomed Suvendhu to join BJP.
