BJP Instructs Overseas Wing to Not Use Party Name in US Elections
Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) has asked its overseas wing, Overseas Friends of BJP (OFBJP) not to use its name during the upcoming US presidential elections scheduled in November. The decision was taken as the India-US ties support both parties in the US. BJP Foreign Affairs head Vijay Chauthaiwale said, "We believe that any election is solely a domestic process of that country and BJP has no role whatsoever in the process."

US Government Planning to Distribute COVID-19 Vaccine Pre US Election
The Government of the United States has urged the state authorities to speed up the COVID-19 vaccine process and get it ready by November 1, two days before the US presidential election. The Centres for Disease Control and Prevention Director Robert Redfield, on August 27, wrote a letter that mentioned, "Consider waiving requirements that would prevent these (vaccine) facilities from becoming fully operational by Nov 1, 2020."
