US Tests 1st Ever Air-Launched Hypersonic Weapon '5 Times Faster' Than Speed Of Sound
The US Air Force successfully conducted the test of Air-launched Rapid Response Weapon (ARRW), making it the first air-launched hypersonic weapon in history. The testing has come as a result of the AUKUS alliance which includes US, UK and Australia, to develop high-speed weapons. Currently, US, China and Russia and leading in hypersonic weapon. The hypersonic weapons reportedly attain a speed five times greater than the speed of sound.

US Special Coordinator For Tibetan Issues Uzra Zeya Visits India
Uzra Zeya, the US Special Coordinator for Tibetan Issues and the first Indian American to serve in the role arrived in India on May 17 for a visit that will focus on collaboration on human rights, democratic governance, and advancing humanitarian priorities. India is home to the world's largest population of Tibetan exiles. The International Campaign for Tibet welcomed her appointment as the US Special coordinator.

Turkey Issues Warrants Against 28 Suspects Over 2016 Coup
Arrest warrants have been issued by Turkish prosecutors against 28 suspects over alleged connection to a network suspected to have orchestrated the coup attempt in 2016. The Turkish government has accused the Gulen movement of infiltrating into the state and attempting a coup in 2016. US-based Gulen has been accused for masterminding the 2016 coup, which resulted in the death of at least 250 people.

US Asks For Russia's Suspension From Human Rights Council Over Bucha Incident
