Haryana Eases Ban On Firecrackers, Allows Bursting For 2 Hours
Taking a roll back from its two-day old order, Haryana's BJP-led government on November 8 diluted the blanket ban on sale of firecrackers in the state. Under the revised decision, the government has allowed people to burst crackers for two hours. The government said the restrictions have been imposed under the NGT guidelines to curb air pollution. Earlier, the government had imposed a total ban on firecrackers citing COVID-19 scare.
