Indian Startup Propelld Provides Education Loans Amid Covid-19 Crisis

Education-focused fintech platform Propelld, has raised $35 million in Series-B funding. The startup was founded in 2017 by three friends from IIT Madras. Propelld enables financing solutions for learners pursuing education programmes at partner institutions. “Bajaj declared a 35% first-default; Propelld had 3%. Even that, they chased down relentlessly to less than 1% within 90 days,'' stated a member. Notably, Propelld funds the education of those who couldn't afford it.
