PM Modi Levels Bill Clinton as Longest Serving Head of a Democracy

Modi first took charge as the Chief Minister of Gujarat on October 7, 2001, and served the post till he was elected as PM in the 2014 Lok Sabha Polls. Earlier, he overtook former PM Jawaharlal Nehru, to become the longest-serving head of an elected Government in India. Modi has now levelled former US President Bill Clinton, who had completed twenty years in the same feat. On the occasion, BJP Chief Jagat Prakash Nadda congratulated PM Modi and stated that his ability to adapt was the reason for hjs sustenance. Union Minister Ravishankar Prasad stated that PM Modi has set an impeccable record for good governance and the developments brought by him are benchmarks in history.
