2018 Tweet Case

Alt News co-founder Mohammad Zubair has been granted bail by a Delhi court, on July 15. Zubair was granted bail upon furnishing personal bond and surety of Rs 50,000. Zubair was arrested on June 27, over a Tweet he made in 2018, which sparked sudden controversy. The court whole granted bail, observed that "Hindi religion is one of the oldest religions and most tolerant".
