Andhra Pradesh Government Revises Movie Ticket Prices, Issues GO
Andhra Pradesh government has revised the movie ticket prices, for all categories on March 7. Furthermore, a new category has been created in which special theatres will have increased prices rather than the multiplexes. The state government increased the rate of tickets by 100-300 per cent in regular, premium, non-premium and recliner tickets. AP Govt Slashes RT-PCR COVID-19 Test Prices, New Price At Rs 350
Recently, on January 19, the YS Jagan Mohan Reddy led Andhra Pradesh Government slashed RT-PCR test prices. Done to detect COVID-19, the tests will now be done for Rs 350, instead of previous Rs 499 at laboratories and hospitals. The Government asked the concerned authority and district officers to ensure, all labs and hospitals are following the new prices, issued by the state government.

SC Condemns Andhra Govt's Decision To Hold Class XII Exams
The Supreme Court questioned the Andhra Pradesh government for holding class XII exams amid the new variant - 'delta plus'. "It may order compensation amounting to Rs 1 crore," the SC added. About 21 states have canceled the state board exams amid concerns over the rising COVID-19 cases in the country. However, the central board (CBSE) has also refuted holding the exams and hearing will continue on June 25.
