Ketanji Brown Jackson Becomes 1st Black Woman Judge In US Supreme Court
Ketanji Brown Jackson became the first Black woman to be sworn in as the 116th justice of the United States Supreme Court on June 30. This is the first time in US history that a black woman has been appointed to the country's highest court. President Joe Biden said selection of Judge Jackson represents a historic moment for US. "We have taken another step towards reflecting the diversity of the US Supreme Court," stated Biden.
