Hong Kong to launch Covid-19 Booster Vaccines Next Week
Hong Kong has planned to roll out its booster doses of COVID-19 vaccines from next week, as per reports by the health secretary. Reportedly, 1.86 million people are eligible for the booster shots, which they can book from November 5. As per reports, elderly citizens will be eligible for booster shots, followed by healthcare workers, cross-border truck drivers, and others categories as high risk of getting infected.

England Speeds Up Booster Vaccination Following Rise In COVID Cases
Ministers in England are seeking to intensify booster vaccination program as the government notices a high number of COVID-19 hospitalisations in the country. Eligible candidates of approximately 2 billion will be getting an invitation soon by this week onwards. About 7 million citizens have already been invited through texts, says reports.

Still Not Clear If Indians Need Booster Jabs: AIIMS Director
Dr. Randeep Guleria, Director of AIIMS in Delhi notified that India does not have enough data to state whether booster jabs are necessary for its citizens against Covid-19. He further said, “Information is still emerging... it will take some more months.” Reportedly, the booster shot helps to increase the antibodies. However, the WHO didn't recommend the booster jabs and also termed it a ''mockery'' of rich countries.
