MP Woman Dies From Delta Plus Variant, Report Claims Unvaccinated
A woman in Madhya Pradesh, who came into contact with the Delta Plus variant along with four others has become the first death case from the novel virus, on June 23. Reportedly, four out of five people who had received the vaccine have now recovered. However, the situation is being monitored by the government, said the Medical Education Minister Vishwas Sarang.

New COVID-19 Variant ‘Delta+’ & 'AY.1' Found In India, Says Researchers
COVID-19 variant 'Delta' which caused the second wave of pandemic in India has now changed its appearance. However, a new variant ‘Delta+’ or AY.1 has been found in the country. Now, the question here arises whether this variant can also create devastation like delta variant. CSIR- Ginomiki Institute Scientist Vinod Scaria said, "Mutation can also be related to immunity against viruses."
