Google To Pay $2.6 Million To Settle Probe Over Pay, Hiring Biases
Google has agreed to pay about $2.6 million to settle the case in which the internet giant is accused of underpaying several female employees and discriminating women and Asians in its hiring processes. The US' Department of Labor has also asked the company to conduct a gender pay equity study and provide updates in this regard.
