Ethanol Promotion Policy

The Bihar government on March 17 approved the Ethanol Promotion Policy in the state. Becoming the first state to implement such policy, it encourages investors to make ethanol directly from maize, molasses, broken rice and rotten grains with 15% government subsidy.
