In Lucknow, section 144 of the CrPC has been imposed from December 7 to January 5. The Lucknow police impose guidelines, restricting the gathering of more than 4 people, in view of rising Covid-19 cases and its new variant, especially during Christmas and New Year's celebrations. The Joint Commissioner of Lucknow Police, Piyush Mordia has issued an order with immediate effect in the City.
