Mumbai Building Catches Fire, Police Registers Case

In Mumbai's Mulund region, a massive fire broke out in a five storeyed building. The incidence occurred in the afternoon of April 25, following which the local police and fire tenders rushed to the spot. As per sources, five fire fighters reached the spot and tried to douse the fire. As of now no casualties has been reported, but property damaged happened. A case has been registered and investigation launched.

Fire Breaks Out In MIDC Chemical Plant In Palghar, Maharashtra

A major fire erupted in a chemical plant in the Tarapur region of Palghar, Maharashtra on June 28. An industrial sector called the Maharashtra Industrial Developmental Centre (MIDC) plant was the site of the tragedy. As a result of the fire, a succession of explosions were heard. Firefighters were dispatched to the scene. Measures are being taken to suppress the fire. More information is anticipated.

Massive Fire Erupts At Heritage Site 'Secunderabad Club': Telangana

As per reports, Secunderabad Club was gutted in flames early morning of January 16. The fire department said that a short-circuit could be the reason behind the fire. The fire fighting operations are underway at the club. No casualties have been reported, officials said. Established in 1878 by the British Army in Garrisons, the club has been given heritage site status since 2017 and has 5,000 members.

17 Killed In Karachi Chemical Factory Fire

A fire broke out at Karachi's Mehran Town chemical factory on the night of August 27 leaving at least 17 people dead. The bodies were taken to Jinnah hospital. Two firefighters were also injured during the rescue operation. "We have not received any word regarding any more people being trapped inside," Deputy Commissioner Korangi Samiullah Odho said. The cause of the fire is still known.
