Over 7 Lakh People Got Permanent Central Govt Jobs Since 2014: Jitendra Singh
Speaking in Lok Sabha, Union Minister Jitendra Singh informed that over 7,22,311 people secured jobs across various central government departments since 2014. Of which, 1,47,096 people got central government jobs in 2018-2019, which is the highest. He said that the BJP government's priorities are generating employment and improving employability. Dearness Allowance Hiked By 3% For Central Govt Employees
Central Government employees will now receive 34% Dearness Allowance (DA), after the Union Cabinet hiked it by 3%, on March 30. The move is expected to benefit 47.68 lakh central government employees and 68.62 lakh pensioners. "The increase in accordance with the formula, which is based on the recommendations of the 7th Central Pay Commission," said the Union Cabinet, reported PTI.
