Karnataka Ends 14-Day Mandatory Quarantine for Inter-state Travellers
Karnataka government on August 24 revised the guidelines for inter-state travellers. Aligning with 'Unlock 3' guidelines provided by the Union government, the state government has done away with mandatory quarantine period for incoming inter-state travellers. Union Govt Releases Guidelines for TV and Film Shoots
To resume film and television production, Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar on August 23 announced new Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Bihar to Become 1st State to Conduct Elections amid Pandemic, EC Issues Guidelines
As Bihar Assembly Polls are approaching, the Election Commission (EC) on August 21, issued new guidelines for conducting the election amid Covid-19 pandemic. The fresh guidelines include rules for a door-to-door campaign of a group of not more than five people. There are no mentions of virtual rallies and digital campaigns in the regulations. The Assembly election is scheduled between October to November.
