Biden Urges Congressman To Curb Gun Violence In USA
Concerned about shootouts in the United States, which killed 35 people in three-weeks, President Joe Biden urged US Congress to ban "Assault Weapon". On June 3, Biden said, "Guns are the number one killer of children in the USA". He asked for "Red Flag" laws or to increase the age to purchase guns, in order to protect against gun-violence in public places like malls, schools, grocery stores, and churches.

Oklahoma Hospital Shooting: 4 Dead As Gunman Open Fires In Tulsa Medical Building
In the US state of Oklahoma, a gunman opened fire in the Tulsa medical building, killing four persons, on June 2. The gunman then died due to a self-inflicted gunshot wound. According to the police who arrived at the spot in three minutes, the gunman used a rifle and a hand gun during the attack. US president Joe Biden has been briefed about the shooting and further details are awaited.

North Korea Fires Projectile Towards Sea Of Japan
North Korea has fired a projectile towards the Sea of Japan. This is the second missile launch in three days. This comes amid speculations that North Korea could conduct a nuclear test this month.
