Biden Urges Congressman To Curb Gun Violence In USA

Concerned about shootouts in the United States, which killed 35 people in three-weeks, President Joe Biden urged US Congress to ban "Assault Weapon". On June 3, Biden said, "Guns are the number one killer of children in the USA". Oklahoma Hospital Shooting: 4 Dead As Gunman Open Fires In Tulsa Medical Building

In the US state of Oklahoma, a gunman opened fire in the Tulsa medical building, killing four persons, on June 2. The gunman then died due to a self-inflicted gunshot wound. According to the police who arrived at the spot in three minutes, the gunman used a rifle and a hand gun during the attack. US president Joe Biden has been briefed about the shooting and further details are awaited.

PM Modi To Participate In Quad Leader's Virtual Meet

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will participate in a Quad Leader's virtual meeting on March 3, along with US President Joe Biden, Japan and Australia prime ministers. "They will exchange views and assessments about important developments in the Indo-Pacific," the MEA said.  It will also strengthen bilateral relations between the different countries.
