Noida Airport Likely To Be Logistics Hub Of North India, Say's PM Modi
The Foundation stone for the Noida International Airport was laid by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on November 25. "It will put Noida and western Uttar Pradesh on the map, and will be the "logistics gateway of northern India," the PM said in a statement. "Farmers in the region will be able to export their produce, such as vegetables and fruits, directly to the rest of the world, he further stated.

Air Asia Plans To Convert Its Passenger Plane To dedicated Freighter
Air Asia has planned to increase its cargo business in view of rising e-commerce logistics. The company is reportedly planning to convert its 362 orders of passenger planes 'A321neo' to a freight carrying cargo aircraft, manufactured by Airbus. Moreover, the company aims to raise 50 million to 100 million dollars by the end of 2021 and is planning to list a separate company in three years.
