BJP Leader Claims Attempt To Kill Allegations On Maharashtra CM

In Maharashtra, BJP leader Mohit Kamboj claims that Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray of Shiv Sena is trying to kill him. On April 23, Kamboj said, "My car was attacked at Kalangar Junction by a mob. we managed to flee". He further added, that the MVA Government is worse than West Bengal and has links with the "drugs mafia". He said, "This was an attempt by Maharashtra CM to kill me".

Schools To Reopen From Jan 24, CM Thackeray Approves Proposal: Maharashtra

Maharashtra schools for pre-primary to class XII students are set to reopen from January 24. However, the schools will function only in regions with low number of COVID-19 cases. Notably, Maharashtra CM took the decision, considering the proposal of School Education Department official. CM Uddhav Thackeray Successfully Completes Clinical Cervical Surgery

Doctors of the H N Reliance Hospital on November 12 said that the cervical spine surgery of Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray has been successfully completed in Mumbai. The 61-year-old leader was admitted to the hospital after complaining of severe neck pain on November 10. Reportedly, he has now been shifted to a ward. ''The doctors said he was stable during the surgery and has been doing well,'' reported PTI.

Conflict Erupts Between Maharashtra CM And Governor Over Opening Of Religious Places

Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari on October 12, reportedly, wrote a letter to the Chief Minister (CM) Uddhav Thackray asking him to reopen places of worship with COVID-19 precautions. In the letter, he asked CM if he has turned 'secular' despite his Hindutva ideology. The CM in his response said that he does not need a 'certificate' of Hindutva from the Governor and a decision on his suggestion will be taken soon.
